Mighty Go — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how personal data is handled in the Mighty Go mobile app (the “App”). The general privacy policy for the Mighty Way platform is available at /privacy.

Mighty Go App — Version 1.0.0 and Above

The Mighty Go mobile app has always been offline-first: all your tasks, spheres, habits, notes and profile preferences are stored locally on your device. By default, no personal data leaves your device.

New in version 1.0.0: optional sync with a teacher. Starting with version 1.0.0, members of the Mighty Way Community can voluntarily opt in to cloud sync in order to share their tasks with a teacher or mentor. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email. Sync is only activated after you explicitly sign in from the “Profile” section of the app, and can be disabled at any time.

Sync infrastructure provider. For the cloud component we use Convex (Convex, Inc., USA) — a real-time cloud backend and database. Convex processes data only on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.

Data synchronised when sync is enabled:

• Email address (used for one-time sign-in code)
• Display name and avatar
• Tasks, habits, spheres and their related metadata
• Mood entries and user preferences
• Teacher–student link records and pending link requests
• Technical identifiers (user ID, app version)

Authentication. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email via Convex Auth. No passwords are stored.

Your control. From the “Profile” section you can:

• Sign out — sync stops, local data remains on the device
• Delete your community account — all data previously uploaded to the cloud is removed
• Delete local data — clears the device without affecting synced data

For non-community users, sync is never enabled and personal data never leaves the device.
